Nothing stings worse than finding out you wasted 2 hours and 10 minutes of your precious weekend watching New Moon. OK, so bf wanted to see it, and he paid for the tickets. I ended up paying for the popcorn and red vines cus THE GODDAMN MOVIE JUST WOULD NOT END! OK, I enjoyed Twilight much better than I did this one. Maybe because I was drunk and at the comfort of my own couch and nursing wine with cheese and *probably* those caramelized figs from Whole Foods. I mean seriously, I do not get the appeal. I tried to put myself in a 13 year old kid's shoes. No go. I totally wasted 2 hours and 10 minutes of my time on this garbage. I gotta admit I was curious as to how they were gonna play out Bella's character. From a culinary perspective, she was apparently uber tasty. But there's nothing much about this in the movie, other than the fact that apparently she can't read the vampires minds. Well no shit sherlock, that was established in the first movie! Uuuuuuuurgh I should've smoked a bowl beforehand.

Highlights of the movie:

- Taylor Lautner's not-THAT-hammy acting. And wtf those abs. Nommy.
- When Bella hallucinated Edward's face for the first time. I seriously almost pissed my pants laughing. This is also the first and last time she genuinely acted.
- That scene where Edward is running in khakis. Oh my lord it's like an Anthropologie commercial.
- Dakota Fanning.
- OK fine, Alice's sense of fashion. Also, would've been better played by Parker Posey. AIR RAID, FRESHMAN!

I'm sorry, twihards. There is nothing here for me.

On Friday thisiserika and I picked up cajoje downtown.
We went to Pirate's Plunder (pirate novelty shop) first.
Then we drove back out north and traded cars since my mom's started smoking so bad (possible bad water pump. We'll find out tomorrow)
Then we went to Target, the Liquor Store and My store for party fixins and badass fingerless batman gloves.
Then home to wait for people to start showing up.

Also, also, cajoje brought down all kinds of foreign Canadian goodies.

I had so much fun until...well, I only had fun because I can't remember any of the bad parts. (I threw up and they put me to bed.)

I remarkably woke up with not a hint of a hangover. And after the initial "what did I do" panic wore off I was good to go to brunch.
Brunch at Salty's is something that everybody should do. More than once. Sure, it's $40 per person, but, it's totally worth it.
All the seafood you could eat. It was jaw dropping, awe inspiring, mouth watering. All that.
